what was Richard Wagner like [personality wise]?
i'm in a play called compose yourself and i got the part of richard wagner! everyone got information from the my teacher Mr.C [who is the director] well Mr.C forgot to get one for me so i don't know what he is like!
is he easy going, or his he snotty and rude?
please tell me any and all of his traits, and if you have any interesting facts, please share!

depends on who you were.. The young nobility loved him.. the towns people HATED him.. he was run out of several countries after bad behavior, heavy drinking, and refusal to pay debts (expecting the nobility to take care of it for him) made it a worse idea to keep him around..
He was known to be an Anti-Semite despite rumors of some Jewish heritage..
So, while I can't say he was a disagreeable person to EVERYONE.. he certainly wasn't the nicest guy in the world either..
EDIT to add on:
Reading this.. it seems kind of one sided.. so, I'll give you another side as well.. If you read his letters (to friends, wife.. etc) he was very considerate of their feelings.. seemed genuinely worried about them when he was away.. and seemed to have many things on his mind..
He had migraine headaches a LOT.. crippling in some cases..
He had issues with his skin.. he was VERY sensitive to the feel of certain fabrics on his skin.. to the point where he could only wear the softest of them.. (another gene that I apparently got..although not nearly as bad ) Anything else would make him ill..
and I'm sure with the drinking his liver wasn't doing too hot either..
