does anyone own a jamey aebersold book for jazz?
if so, which one and what do you think of it? i am considering purchasing maiden voyage. i play the keyboards in my district jazz band, and i want to get better at playing jazz and just improvising.
LIke i said, i play the piano, so i would like some suggestions on what book to purchase that would be the most helpful to a keyboard player.

I have Maiden Voyage as well as the Guitar Voicings book. They are both excellent for soloing and comping practice. I would recommend them highly. There is also a book with the piano voicings and comps written out. I would recommend that as well for a keyboard player, without reservation.
