How do you activate your energy on Rock Band 2?
On the guitar and microphone.
You hold the guitar vertical or you can hit the select button which is easier said than done.
For vocals you have to wait for these parts between phrases with golden glowing frills that fill up the vocal bar. Then you have to make some sound to activate the star power. You can say anything you want, just make sure you're loud enough!
keep in mind though when activating star power on any instrument the meter must be at least halfway full. You can look at it and tell it's ready to be activated if there is a glow pulsing off the meter.
