We have heard of many musicians who were fmaous in their so let's relive those memories again. Some were brilliant playing guitars and some were brilliant playing the pianos. This article contains the name of top guitar players from 1950s to 1990s. It’s hard to judge them on their individual talent basis so I have put it into the era categories such as top guitarists in the 80s, 70s, 90s, 50s and 60s.

I have to name my all times favourite Jimi Hendrix first and then Eric Clapton, Frank Zappa, Jeff Beck, Keith Richards, Pete Townshend, Peter Green, Dave Davies, George Harrison and Steve Cropper.

Jimmy Page, Richie Blackmore, David Glimour, Duane Allman, Brian May, Carlos Santana, Tony Iommi, Angus Young, Ry Cooder and Mick Ronson.
1980s top guitarists
Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Morse and Jason Becker.
1990s top guitar players

I listened to Jimi Hendrix and Guns N Roses while I was growing up even though Jimi Hendrix's era was in 1960's just shows that music always stay with us. My father was a big fan of Hendrix and had a massive collection of his albums. I have always been interested in music and can play grand pianos, keyboard piano, drums and guitars. but shame I couldn't make it big.
